Good Morning people. Its getting thin here. Ness and the old man still locked in a mortal battle for the trainer title. I don’t think it matters much to the old man (Distefano aka Scace) but it probably does to Ness. He is throwing a lot of sponges at the wall these days to see what sticks.

Race 2: The Ness watch has two horses in here. Alie Took A Chance is probably the better play at shorter odds. Recent claims win and win again for this witch.

Race 7: I think Unbridle This Star might get the win before heading for other parts. Luis got him out of the gate last race and this one is only 5 panels. I like the fact that he popped ut in 1 11.3 first race. Might get the oats here.

Race 8: Another Ness watch at a price. He claimed Nicandro last race and raised him to the the turf. Villa Gomez is riding. We’ll see him around the wire at a price…that’s a near certainty.

Three winners should get your day going.

4/23: Tampa Select Races

Race 1: Not a huge Brenda McCarthy fan but #3 I’s Coming Home looks like he is about the only one here who can stand up let alone run.

Race 2: I always favor a shipper this time of year and we all know what a switch over to Ramos can mean this time of year. #5 Viow to win. Second to Fiesty Duke off that last win in the bottom beaten condition.

Race 3: I know the Orseno camp was shocked when this one lost last out. Drops to the bottom which is a very bad sign but there is absolute garbage in here so I give her the nod. Just Jeannie for second.

Race 5: Lets go against the chalk and try Colin Sherwood and Yield Right on the turf. The sire likes his babies on the sod and going long so this one has the best upside for the recent maiden win.

Race 6: Skip The Siesta off the claim for the win. Mysterious Ridge for second.

Race 7: I Am Solid Gold gets the turf and was in a very quick affair last out. I like her today to run well for the Clement connections.

Race 8: Beauty Of Holiness should get caught today.

Race 9: Why wouldn’t Village Singer make it 2-2 for Mr. Clement? Forbid The Queen might get up for a piece.

Tampa 4/21

Race 1: Terrible race with no speed. The dimes say #12 Money Talkin-Steel Breeze-Cabre for the straight tri. Why not?

Race 2: Another bad one but Kirk brings them here to win. This one has speed and Forrest can get out there and hang on.

Race 3: A cold exacta box. Use Catch My Smoke and Sir Swervelot. Play Agent Danseur and Hamlin underneath on the other exotics.

Race 5: Look for one of the AE’s to win this if they draw in. If not Griffiths might be sitting on an improvement here with A Fleet Prospector.

Race 6: All North Stardom. Ran against much better last time and this is a gimme.

Race 8: Fiddle For A Buck. Dead lame last race and won going away. Comes back quickly. A race horse for sure. Whatever he is feeling today it probably won’t be anything worse than last race and he didn’t put the breaks on at all. I am a believer on the non claiming move here.

Race 9: Mercy Matters looks good enough to win this one.’
