I am your “hostess” for this area, as well as much of our site.

I am known as “La Reina.” I am a model, singer and novice full time professional gambler. I play cards, bet sports and wager on the horses. I consider gambling a job; don’t mess with me while I am working!

I am the beginning of a new breed in gambling; born from the incredible growth and financial opportunities that the modern poker era has established. Five years ago, you couldn’t have found anyone like me gambling for a living. Five years from now, there will be thousands.

Hot, young people who reject the mainstream way of doing things. We are counter-culture. Gambling is our protest against the restraint that our right wing political leaders, our traditional cultural icons and the dogmatic, arch conservative “moral majority” constantly try to force on us.

I am 26 years old. I was born of two minister parents. I am the third of four closely knit siblings. I am of multi-cultural decent, most prominently Spanish, Irish and Chinese. I have graduated with a B.S. in Caribbean Studies from one the most competitive Universities in the Northeastern United States. I speak English and Spanish fluently. Most importantly, I am a rebel.

As are my girls; the Girls of Winning Gone Wild.

Take a good look at us guys. We are the girls of Winning Gone Wild. We are the new breed of professional gamblers. Young, tech savvy, calculating, sensation seeking, risk takers with nothing to lose.

We’re the simulcast brats. We play the horses from laptops on the beach. Hardly ever visit a track although we will make exceptions for Saratoga and Del Mar. Fashion opportunities. You’ll find us in poker rooms where You’ll get distracted and fail to read our faces. You’ll spot us in select Las Vegas Sportsbooks during football season where You’ll be wondering what inside information we got at the last players party. You’ll find us at The Mirage where you’ll be looking down our blouses as we roll the bones across the green felt of dreams.

When you see us we’ll be wearing Versace, Chanel and Dior. Our sunglasses might cost more than your neighbor’s spent on vacation this year. We don’t owe anyone anything and we can’t be bought.

The difference between us and other gamblers is the way we feel about the game. Like everyone we play to win and like everyone nothing feels better than winning. What makes us different is our view of losing. Most people hate losing, but not us. For us, losing is the next best thing to winning. What we hate is not being part of the action. Feeling that thrill from winning or losing is what makes us dangerous.

We’re not afraid of you, but you better be of us. Until we have the pleasure of meeting across the gaming table, sit back, enjoy and get to know us.
